“My biggest motivation? Just to keep challenging myself. I see life almost like one long University education

that I never had – everyday I’m learning something new.”

SRI® College recently held its I.C.E. (Inclusive College Experience) Programme at Wisma Smart Reader® I,

Segambut. The programme was organised as an ice-breaking session to ease the transition from high school to

college for new SRI® College students. The programme also helped new students to get acquainted with

their seniors and the staff of SRI® College.

The event began with a welcome speech by Mr Manivanan Saman, Academic Dean and Business Development

Director of SRI® College followed by the speech by Mr Kevan Ong, Corporate Manager of Smart Reader®

Worldwide.

Prof Dr George Gregory Nathan, Director of Academics then briefed the students on the academic aspects

such as the daily operations of the college, the rules and regulations and preparations for a college life. They

were kept abreast on the latest news and happenings in college.

During the briefing session, the students participated in a game called ‘Find Your Match’. They were first

formed in pairs, then one of them had to take off one of their shoes and place it into a black bag. Their partners

had to go all out to look for their shoes.

At the end of the programme, the students were treated to Wall’s ice-cream. Mr Kumarandran A/L Chandra

Mohanadas, Assistant Registrar of SRI® College, said that the objective of the programme was met as there

was a spirit of camaraderie and togetherness amongst the students and staff of SRI® College.
